i chose to setup my new iPhone by transferring all from old phone to new phone wirelessly side by side. I followed all the instructions I was prompted. I started this process about 5 hours ago and the screen on the new phone still says reconnecting. What is it am doing wrong?

Hey Sauriesr,
If I understand correctly, you are trying to transfer content from an old iPhone to a new one, but it is stuck saying reconnecting. If it has not moved and is not responding you may need to restart the device.
Force restart iPhone
Use Quick Start to transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
